The shelter gets only a very small budget from the county and we need help from the community to help us obtain the funds and materials we need to make sure all of the animals have what they need, not only to be safe, but to live and thrive in this environment that is not always a fun place for them to be. There are a number of ways you can help.

Financial Donations
Financial donations to help provide medical care for shelter animals are always appreciated. You can make a donation to *LSPCA (Lancaster Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) by sending a check made payable to LSPCA. Please write Lancaster County Animal Shelter in the memo field and mail to:

Donations can also be made via Credit/Debit Card or PayPal (link below).
*LSPCA is a 501(c)(3) (EIN 46-3374265) nonprofit group that takes in the donations for Lancaster County Animal Shelter to use toward medical care for dogs and cats and provides supplies the shelter may need. LSPCA also provides transport for shelter animals to rescues around the country to give them better opportunity to find loving homes.
Donations to Lancaster SPCA are tax-deductible where allowed.
